A São Paulo Civil Police investigator fired on a military police car in the south of São Paulo, on Tuesday afternoon (8).
The case is investigated by the Civil Police Office.
The shot took place at Nicolau de Souza Queiroz Street, in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, in the south of São Paulo. In a statement, the São Paulo Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) said the shot was “apparently accidental.”
The preliminary investigation expert showed that the shooting hit the door of the driver of the uncharacterized vehicle of the Military Police and the projectile remained housed inside the bodywork.
There were no victims, still according to the folder. The researcher’s name and police department were not revealed. “Other details will be preserved to ensure the autonomy of police work,” said the secretary.
