Criminal police officer Antônio Lourenço da Paixão Filho, 49, killed his partner and 13-year-old stepdaughter after a fight during New Year’s Eve in Minas Gerais. According to investigations, the suspect took his own life after the murders.
According to the Civil Police, the crime occurred on the morning of last Wednesday (1st), just after New Year’s Eve, when Paixão was found dead, along with his partner and the teenager, who were taken to a hospital, but they could not resist the injuries and also died .
The incident took place in the municipality of Três Marias, in the Buritis neighborhood.
Forensics carried out the first surveys at the site. The bodies of the three victims were sent to the IML for examinations that will help clarify the causes of their deaths.
A police investigation was launched to investigate the circumstances of the crime. Authorities are seeking to confirm whether the 49-year-old suspect committed the crimes before he died.
