A military police officer was shot on Tuesday afternoon (24), in the Bangu neighborhood, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. He was with his wife and two children at the school gate, when a black car approached. A man got out armed and started shooting. The military police officer fell to the ground. Frightened, the woman and children ran to the school.
A security camera filmed the exact moment the shots were fired. The police officer was shot seconds after kissing his children. In the video, it is also possible to see that the black car was already following the police officer. At least 4 criminals are in the car.
With the military police officer lying on the ground, the criminal who shot him still has his gun with him.
According to the Rio de Janeiro State Military Police Secretariat, agents from the 14th BPM (Bangu) were called to the incident on Avenida Raul Barros Vieira, in Bangu.
The police officer was taken to the Albert Schweitzer Municipal Hospital, located in Realengo, also in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
