Civil Police and Students from the Sylvio Terra State Police Academy (Acadepol) mobilized on Thursday (20) to donate blood to the Civil Police helicopter co -pilot Felipe Marques Monteiro, who was seriously injured during Operation Tourniquet in Vila Aliança, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
The agent was hit by a firearm shot on his head while riding the aircraft on Thursday morning (20). He was rescued and sent to Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital, where he follows in serious condition.
Through social networks the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police stressed the importance of blood donation and called on the population to join the cause.
Hemorio, where blood donations can be made, is located in the center of Rio and operates from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm.
