The São Paulo Civil Police complied on Friday morning (7) 34 search and seizure warrants in stores with the intention to dismantle gangs specialized in robbery and breakdown of vehicle pieces. During the operation, a man was arrested in the act for receiving in a workshop.
The searches took place in the center and east of São Paulo, in addition to the municipalities of Cajamar and Itaquaquecetuba, in the metropolitan region. The police found that the suspects used Styrofoam boxes to simulate beverage loads, but actually carried dismantled parts. Elsewhere, a secret compartment was discovered on a roof, positioned to facilitate escape.
