Another prisoner who escaped from a prison in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (MG) was recaptured by the Military Police. As a result, four of the nine fugitives have already been found.
João Batista Freire Rodrigues Filho was located by police officers last Sunday morning (3). He was imprisoned in the Santa Luzia penitentiary, in Greater Belo Horizonte. The escape occurred last Wednesday (29).
According to the State Department of Justice and Security, the prisoner was found in Juatuba, also in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Information from the Hotline led agents to find him.
To date, the Security Secretariat stated that five fugitives have not yet been located. The third recaptured was found last Friday (1st) by the Military Police. The other two were recaptured on the same day as their escape.
In a note, the ministry highlights that the population can continue helping the security forces with information, through the Hotline (181). The secretariat states that the call is free and the channel guarantees 100% anonymity to the whistleblower.

- Wallace Lima Gonçalves, 22 years old
- Deivid Antônio de Souza, 35 years old
- Vitor Gabriel de Oliveira Simões, 20 years old
- Wilbert Eduardo Melo da Silva, 22 years old
