Police rescued last Tuesday (26) a cubed pup that lived in the house of influencer Iago Cosme de Souza, known as the “Minor Prophet”. The animal was seized in a residence located in the Vila Formosa neighborhood, in the east of São Paulo.
According to delegate Renato Francisco de Camargo Mello, investigations began after receiving information on illegal possession of wild animal and abuse. From this, a police inquiry was established.
According to police, five dogs of the Lulu Pomeranian breed were also found at the scene, apparently without evidence of mistreatment.
The prevalent monkey puppy has been seized and will be sent to the Wildlife Animal Management and Conservation Center for treatment and reintroduction to its natural habitat.

THE CNN Iago Cosme de Souza reported that a neighbor “took a tantrum” and made the complaint about the animal.
“I bought this pregnant monkey at the time, a year ago. I paid R $ 35 thousand in it. It was always my dream to have a monkey. But where I bought, over the internet, the boy said that the monkey was legalized, documented. I took possession of the monkey. I studied about the monkey, how to take care of him. He ate in the right hours, went to the vet. My monkey was like a son to me, got it? However, a neighbor took a tantrum from me, took the monkey tantrum and denounced, ”he said.
He denied that the animal was a victim of abuse and added that his lawyer tries to recover the monkey.
