The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 233 kilos of cocaine base paste during a inspection action on BR 153, in São José do Rio Preto (SP). The approach was an intelligence operation of the PRF of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul.
During the survey, it was found that the Paraná cargo vehicle was driven by a 40 -year -old man who resident in Umuarama (PR). According to the driver, he had carried 21 tons of peanuts on a farm located 80 kilometers from Campo Grande, with a final destination in Taquaritinga (SP).
Some suspicions led to the hypothesis of the presence of narcotics in the middle of the load. Thus, after the peanuts was discharged, a rigid coating was found on the floor of one of the semi -trailers. When removed, 225 cocaine base paste tablets were found.
This occurrence was sent to the Federal Police Station in São José do Rio Preto. The vehicle was seized and the heavy drug, totaling 233 pounds.
