A military policeman was arrested last Saturday (25) after being found with two rifles and other weapons inside a car in Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense.
According to the PM, agents were patrolling the region to inhibit actions by criminal groups when they were informed about the strange presence of a car at the scene.
During the searches performed on the car, the police found two rifles, pistol, porters, ammunition and a bulletproof vest. The agent, who was aboard the vehicle, was driven by the police to the 60th DP to provide clarification.
In a statement, the Military Police Office said it will follow the investigations.
