The remake of “Renascer”, a Brazilian soap opera that was successful in 1993, premieres next Monday (22). CNN carried out a survey (see below) to find out which other notable productions the public would also like to see in new recordings.
The success of Benedito Ruy Barbosa follows the same path as other productions such as “Pantanal”, “Mulheres de Areia” and “Anjo Mau”, by having a new version created and shown on open TV.
This is only possible because the story told remains current and strong, timeless, presenting mysteries, dramas, love, revenge and legends.
The new version will be led by Bruno Luperi (grandson of Benetido Ruy Barbosa) and will have artistic direction by Gustavo Fernández.
Humberto Carrão, Marcos Palmeira, Maria Fernanda Cândido, Vladimir Brichta, Juliana Paes, Irandhir Santos, Sophie Charlotte, Matheus Nachtergaele, Rodrigo Simas, among others, will be part of the new cast.
