Small lead for Emanuel Macron’s Ensemble in the first round of the French parliamentary elections. The French President’s party reportedly gathers 28% of votes in the first round, against 27.5% of Jean-Luc Melanson’s NUPES alliance.
According to the Athens News Agency, the president’s central political party Emanuel Macron precedes completely against her opponent of the left alliance in view of the first round of parliamentary elections this Sunday, suggests a poll of institutes Ipsos and CEVIPOF published today by the newspaper Le Monde.
Mr Macron’s Ensemble is said to be gaining 28% of the vote in the first round, compared to 27.5% for Jean-Luc Melanson’s NUPES (New Popular Ecological and Social Union) alliance.
The difference between the two factions is within the statistical error limit (± 1.1%).
The parliamentary elections conducted in France in two rounds on June 12th and 19th.
The president’s central party is planned, according to poll she, to esecure from 275 to 315 seats in the National Assembly (needs 289 to have the majority)
