Pope Francis spent last night without the need for non -invasive ventilation help

As it became known by the Vatican, Pope Francis did not need the help of non -invasive ventilation last night. It is added, however, that this is not a definitive interruption but a gradual reduction. At the same time, the high -flow oxygen administered to the Pontiff began to decrease during the day. The Holy See added that today the slight improvement of Francis’ health continued, both in terms of physiotherapy and breathing exercises. During the day, Pontiff prayed, rested and dealt with cases of the Catholic Church. Concerning King Charles’ visit to Italy on April 8 and the possibility of meeting with the Pope, the Vatican emphasizes that the Pontifical program is always announced only a few days before his meetings with his personalities or politicians.
