Pope Leo appeals to a permanent ceasefire in Gaza – “The situation is tragic”

Pope Leo ID ‘discussed the “tragic situation in Gaza” at a meeting he had today with Israeli President Isaac Hertzog and called for a permanent ceasefire in the Palestinian enclave, the Vatican said.
