Xiaomi has released the MIUI 12.5 proprietary firmware update for the global versions of Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones, which are sold in the global market. As a reminder, Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were launched as affordable flagships in the second half of last year. The devices turned out to be cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi 10, while they are aimed at fans of flat screens and those who do not like AMOLED.
Both smartphones have a common MIUI assembly, the European firmware has V12.5.1.0.RJDEUXM. Other regional variants of these (Global, Russia and so on) should receive the firmware as soon as possible.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were launched with MIUI 12 based on the Android 10 operating system. Earlier this year, the devices were updated to Android 11, which brought no visible changes. They also need to be updated to Android 12 as well as MIUI 13.
Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are equipped with IPS screens with a diagonal of 6.67 inches with a resolution of 2440 x 1080 pixels with an image refresh rate of 144 Hz, an embedded camera with a resolution of 20 megapixels, batteries with a capacity of 5000 mAh with support for fast charging with a capacity of 33 W, NFC, side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, infrared and two SIM card slots. The OS is Android 10 with a proprietary shell MIUI 12.
