The team of the popular service for creative people DeviantArt has removed content prohibited by Russian law. This was reported by the press service of Roskomnadzor.

As a reminder, on August 3, access to the DeviantArt website in Russia was limited. This happened after the administration of the resource did not fulfill in due time the next requirement of the department to remove materials posted on the site that demonstrate methods and incite suicide, images with child pornography, Nazi symbols, advertisements for the sale of narcotic drugs.
As Roskomnadzor complained earlier, since 2019, a total of 145 requests have been sent to the DeviantArt administration to remove prohibited materials posted on the website.
After the introduction of restrictive measures, DeviantArt removed all prohibited materials in relation to which the requirements were previously sent, and informed Roskomnadzor about this. The check carried out by the specialists of the department confirmed the removal of the prohibited information in full. In this regard, the blocking was removed and access to the resource on the territory of Russia was restored.
Roskomnadzor stressed that meeting the requirements for the removal of prohibited information is the basis for lifting the block. For example, such popular resources as the music portal Genius, the Shutterstock photo bank, the Scribd electronic library, and the Archive non-commercial website archive were previously unblocked.
