The São Paulo Court closed the hearing of Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, driver of the Porsche that caused an accident leaving one man dead and another injured on March 31 in the East Zone, at around 8pm this Friday (28).
In total, 22 witnesses were heard, according to the TJ/SP press office.
The session was presided over by Judge Roberto Zanichelli Cintra, of the 1st Jury Court, who scheduled a new hearing for August 2, 2024, when the accused will finally be questioned.
This Friday, he followed the testimonies in a virtual format directly from the Tremembé Penitentiary, in the interior of the state.

Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho was driving a Porsche Carrera at 156.4 km/h, according to reports presented by the Technical-Scientific Police.
The place where the accident occurred – Avenida Salim Farah Maluf, in Tatuapé – had a speed limit of 50 km/h.
The accused hit the car of app driver Ornaldo da Silva Viana, who died at the scene.
In addition to him, student Marcus Vinícius Machado Rocha was also hit and seriously injured. In a statement at the time, Fernando stated that he had not been drinking. Images released by the police, however, cast doubt on the version.
He did not take the breathalyzer test because, according to images attached to the case files by the Military Police, the agents who responded to the incident did not have tests available at that time.
The PM’s Internal Affairs Department later understood that the police officers were wrong to release the driver and removed the officers from the streets so that they could respond to an administrative disciplinary process.
