The girlfriend of businessman Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, 24, who is being investigated for the murder of an app driver, was interviewed by the police this Tuesday (9) and said that the fight captured by surveillance cameras on the night of the accident It happened because the boyfriend had spent a lot of money at the Poker House, in São Paulo.
On the night of the accident, surveillance cameras near the gaming house captured the argument between the couple. The version given by another witness heard previously was that the fight happened because Fernando was upset and didn't want to let someone else drive his car.
Fernando Sastre was driving a Porsche at high speed in the early hours of the 31st, when he caused the accident that killed Ornaldo da Silva Viana. He had his mother's help to leave the place and did not take a breathalyzer test.
Fernando's girlfriend's testimony was expected, as she accompanied the businessman throughout the night he committed the crime for which he was accused.
Sources linked to the investigation reported that the woman did not confirm whether Fernando had drunk alcoholic beverages. The same witness who reported the fight between the couple had already said that that night she had “a few drinks” with the businessman.
The police continue to investigate the case. New witnesses, including the military police officers who responded to the incident, will be interviewed in the coming days.
