Renzo Rubino is ready to sail. The cantature of Martina Franca again this year, for its summer tour, chooses the formula of boat concerts. An imaginary journey into music that becomes real between the Apulian ports and breathtaking views, with departure on 19 July from Polignano a Mare. The singer-songwriter who in 2014 came third in Sanremo with Now, after a year spent writing, presents his new music in the suggestive setting of the Apulian ports, bringing an anticipation of his new recording project in front of the public Marevigliosi Toys out next October for Universal Music.

Play instead is the title of his latest single. Playing as fun, amusement, lightness that we so much need. But also how to play, starting from that English to play, which combines the two words. This is the common thread that animates his new work, this is the common thread of Porto Rubino which becomes an opportunity to invite friends to the stage.

In fact, in the four planned stages there will be many guests who will play from the sea with him: from July 19, with Vinicio Capossela e Micah P. Hinson, will land at Castro Marina (LE) the July 21 with Edoardo Bennato, Francesca Michielin e Lightning; from the dawn of 23 July a Ostuni  – Villanova (BR) with Michele Bravi e Roy Paci, will land on July 25 at the big final party of Maruggio – Campomarino (TA) with Mahmood, Francesco Bianconi, Giovanni Truppi, Margaret Vicar, Receive e Gino Castaldo.

Four ports to celebrate music but also the sea to protect, the Apulian territory so loved and to be preserved, transforming the stage into a meeting place, words and exchange, to put art back at the center, also paying attention to the young artists of the territory.

The journey, of which San Marzano is the official partner, is ready to begin, accompanied by the Sky Arte cameras that will make it a docu-film.
