After almost eight decades, Porto Seguro will change its brand and will be called just Porto.
The change was announced this Tuesday (12) at Porto Day, an event for the company’s investors, promoted in a totally virtual way.
“We are very clear about our value proposition, but we realize that we need to be recognized for this plurality of solutions for customers and companies”, said the chairman of the company’s board of directors, Bruno Garfinkel. “From today, Porto Seguro is Porto.”
According to him, the company’s businesses will each gain their own brand, with their own structure and greater capacity for individual growth. Thus, the insurance area will be Porto Seguros; Health, Porto Saúde; and financial services, Porto Bank.
“Today, with the brand and the support of brokers, we can dream of being as relevant in health as we are in auto”, exemplified Garfinkel.
He pointed out that the company’s transformation from Porto Seguro to the Porto holding company began in 2020, when the company set the goal of doubling its customer base by 2025.
