Deputy André Ventura, president of the right-wing party “arrives”, from Portugal, was ill while making a speech at a promium dinner in the city of Tavira, on Tuesday night (13).
Ventura had paused his speech to drink water, as he retained said a few words and then brings his hand to his chest, closing his eyes and then lowering himself. As he tried to release his tie, he was assisted by the security guards who removed him from the pulpit.

Upon being removed from the stage, the politician was evaluated by a doctor who was in the place. He was then taken from ambulance to the hospital.
A medical source told CNN Portugal that the episode may be linked to hypertension, without suspected infarction after two electrocardiograms.
A party member arrives, Pedro Pinto, remained conscious and oriented all the time.
Ventura spent the night at the hospital and published on social network X, this Wednesday (14), that will not participate in campaign events by medical orders.
