Asian stock markets are moving up on Friday in the positive climate formed by the encouraging results of the Chinese giants Alibaba and Baidu for the last quarter.
On the board, the Japanese Nikkei 225 index rose 0.7% to 26,781.68 points.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng jumped 2.3%, while in mainland China the Shanghai Composite moved with small gains of 0.05%.
Shares of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and Baidu Inc. jump more than 10% after the announcement of results that exceeded analysts’ estimates. Strong quarterly results helped alleviate concerns about the negative impact of lockdowns on COVID-19 inhibition.
South Korea’s Kospi gained 0.85%, while in Australia the S & P / ASX 200 gained 1.1%. Shares in Taiwan and Indonesia are gaining more than 1%.
Wall Street was also boosted by the close, with the Dow Jones industrial average completing five consecutive uptrends.
