Possible Coldplay tour in Brazil will not happen, says newspaper

A possible tour that the band Coldplay Faria in Brazil in November will no longer happen. The information is by columnist Lauro Jardim, from the newspaper O Globo.

According to information from the portal, in all, there would be 10 presentations of the group, which were not announced. The possible cancellation of the presentations would still have been motivated by a “indefinite stop” of the band led by Chris Martin .

The band’s vocalist is expected to perform at Global Citizen Festival: Amazonia whose objective is to promote impact and disseminate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There is still no information yet if the presentation is maintained.

The initiative was created by Global Citizen and has Chris Martin as a curator since the first edition, which took place in 2015. The annual festival has as usual stage Central Park in New York, and will be held for the second time outside the place. In 2022, Accra, in Ghana, received a special version of the event that will now come to the Amazon.

This time, the Global Citizen Festival will take place in Belém in reference to COP 30, 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (Party Conference), which will also be held in the capital of Pará.
