Sweden police reported on Tuesday that several people in the city of Uppsala, in the east of the country, were found with injuries that indicate shots, after strong crashes being heard in the city.
Authorities said in a statement that they received calls from residents who said they had heard noises that looked like fire in the city center.
“Several people were found with injuries that indicate shots,” they said.
A large area was isolated and investigations were opened on the spot.
