As you know, the PlayStation 5 has an internal slot for installing an additional SSD. And the other day a drive was presented, which may just become the first recommended by Sony for use in PS5.

Considering not the largest native drive, this feature should be in great demand, but it is not yet available. Sony is rumored to be preparing a software update for the console that will unlock the slot, but in the meantime, Sony Group Nextorage has unveiled the NEM-H series SSD.
The drive is available in 1 TB or 2 TB versions with read speeds of 7000 and 7100 MB / s, respectively. The SSD is in M.2 2280 form factor and supports PCIe 4.0 interface. It is based on TCL 3D NAND memory, and there is also 1 or 2 GB DDR4 cache.

The write speed is 5500 or 6850 MB / s for models with a volume of 1 and 2 TB, respectively, with a performance of 350,000 or 650,000 IOPS. The TWB value is 700 TB or 1400 TB.
The prices are already known: 230 or 440 dollars.
