Recently, the specified division was spun off into a new company called Serve Robotics. The announcement also says the completion of the first round of funding, led by venture capital firm Neo, with the participation of Uber and other investors.

Serve Robotics will continue to develop a “new form of mobility” by creating autonomous robots for delivering goods in urban environments.

“While self-driving cars eliminate the driver, robotic delivery removes the vehicle itself and makes delivery stable and affordable for everyone,” said Ali Kashani, co-founder and CEO of Serve Robotics.
