Last year’s Samsung Galaxy A71 became one of the most popular smartphones of the South Korean company, and now its successor, the Samsung Galaxy A72, is being prepared for release, which will be available in different regions in versions with support for 5G and 4G.
In January, Samsung Galaxy A72 4G appeared in the databases of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It also appeared on the popular Geekbench benchmark, and the phone’s support page is available on Samsung’s Russian site.
Now the phone with model number SM-A725M / DS has appeared on the Brazilian certification site ANATEL, which has confirmed the battery capacity and support for fast charging. It states that the smartphone will come with a rechargeable battery with model number EB-A426ABY, which has a capacity of 5000 mAh. The successor to this smartphone is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery. At the same time, the smartphone will support 25W fast charging, like the Samsung Galaxy A71.
According to rumors, the Galaxy A72 4G will be based on the Snapdragon 720G SoC and will receive 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch S-AMOLED display with a sub-screen fingerprint scanner. It will run Android 11 with One UI 3.0. The main camera will have a main 64-megapixel image sensor and optical image stabilization. Additionally, a 12 Mp sensor and two 5 Mp sensors will be installed.
The price should start at 450 euros.
