A Chinese source has revealed new details about the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card. There is still no data on when the new product will be released, but its main parameters are reported.

Perhaps the most interesting thing is that the source does not predict any improvements in the memory subsystem: GDDR6 will still be used, and the memory bus width will be 256 bits. The fast Infinity Cache will be 512 MB. The GPU will be represented by two GCD modules (the equivalent of CCD in Ryzen processors), the number of stream processors – 15 360. The graphics processor will be manufactured using the 5 nm process technology.
The GPU frequency will be 2.4-2.5 GHz. The FP32’s computing performance is expected to be 75 TFLOPS – three times that of the RX 6900 XT! However, in games, the performance gain will not be so significant – one and a half times.
According to preliminary data, the GPU crystal area will be 800 mm2, and the power consumption will exceed 400 W. Data on the price of notes, but the Radeon RX 7900 XT will definitely be more expensive than the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
