A serious malfunction in the national electricity grid in Pakistan resulted in power outages in several areas across the country, the federal Department of Energy announced.
“According to the first information, at around 07:34 (local time, 04:34 Greek time), the national network suffered a loss of frequency, which caused serious damage. Work is underway to restore the system,” the ministry said.
