Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Eleksa recently unveiled an electric vehicle dubbed the Eleksa CityBug. Eleksa CityBug is available in Europe, UK and other parts of the world.
It is a two-door compact car that seats four people and weighs about 450 kg. Eleksa says the CityBug is “the ultimate urban electric subcompact” with minimal charging costs.

A 9 kWh battery and a 4 kW electric motor allow the electric car to travel up to 100 km without recharging and reach a top speed of about 60 km/h. The CityBug can carry loads up to 300kg and its range can be doubled to 200km with a larger battery.
Eleksa CityBug can be used as a small delivery vehicle within the city. CityBug offers standard features such as power windows, air conditioning, digital instrument cluster and infotainment center on one big Android screen. Eleksa CityBug also has a built-in navigation system.

In addition, it is the most affordable electric vehicle ever to hit the South African market. It is offered for $14,945.
