Pre-Carnival: 40% of Brazilians intend to hire some service

The search for used real estate real estate services increased by 142% in 2024, compared to 2023. About 62% of consumers have not yet defined supplier.

The numbers were revealed in an unprecedented survey commissioned by Google to Offise, which heard 2,924 respondents.

According to the survey, 40% of Brazilians intend to hire some kind of service before the Carnival holiday. In addition to the Real Estate category, the most sought after sectors were finance, cars and health.

From the saying, the year begins only after Carnival, but the data presented by the study show that 91% of respondents organize and plan the hiring of services. Of these, 57% say they plan well in advance.

According to Google, behavior varies according to demographic characteristics, such as age, social class and occupation. Google Brazil’s general business director, Rodrigo Rodrigues, told the CNN that the company’s search platform takes into account these profile factors to present more specific results.

The survey also pointed to a high loyalty rate among consumers. In finance, 70% of consumers said they intended to renew the services they use.

In nine of the 10 categories, the brand was considered crucial for the purchase process. More than 60% of respondents reported that they resort to search platforms to learn more about services before making decisions.

According to Rodrigues, Google invests in the training of partners, regardless of the size of companies, because it translates into a more satisfactory experience for consumers. “We offer a comprehensive set of resources and programs, ranging from training and technical support – with courses, workshops and online materials – to robust solutions like Google Ads and Google My Business, implemented by our certified partners network,” he said.

Among the results of the study, the telecommunication sector showed seasonality with 50% of Brazilians preferring to hire services between the end and early year. In health, 51% of consumers intend to hire services in the coming months.
