The United Kingdom also published its industrial and manufacturing production data, which grew below expectations. The monthly industrial production increased by 0.2% in December, below the 0.5% expected and the previous 0.3%. Manufacturing production grew by 0.3%, without reaching the 0.6% forecast or the 1.1% previously.
