According to the preliminary IHS / Markit manufacturing activity report, released Monday, the preliminary figure for the German manufacturing PMI fell to 57.9 points in November. The figure is even better than estimates that pointed to a drop to 56.5 from the 30-month high of 58.2 recorded in the previous month.
Meanwhile, the index for the services sector fell further into contraction territory, hitting a four-month low of 46.2 points, compared to market expectations for a drop to 46.3 from 49.5 the previous month.
