Unusual deaths, marked by fatal accidents and terrifying premonitions, have gained the attention of netizens, who are anxious for the film’s debut.
The film is the sixth of the famous “Premonition” franchise, which began in 2000 and continues its successful trajectory. In blood ties, history follows Stefanie, a university student who suffers frequent nightmares about her family’s deaths.
The protagonist decides to return home in search of help from her grandmother, who has undergone similar premonitions in the past. Together they try to prevent death from continuing to persecute the family by breaking the tragedy cycle.
The trailer begins with the family gathered in a barbecue, when small details begin to indicate that something deadly is coming. A glass of glass falls over the ice, is placed in a drink and ends up being one of the keys to the imminent disaster.
The protagonist’s grandmother, played by Tony Todd, who died last year, warns of the relentless death that pursues her family: “The bastard is relentless. Not to end the service.” Tension increases as accidents begin to happen, culminating in bizarre deaths, typical of the franchise.
The “Premonition” franchise was created by Jeffrey Reddick, but he is not involved in the direction or script of this new movie.
The feature will be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, and written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. The cast features Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon and Brec Bassinger, as well as the posthumous participation of Tony Todd.
The film is scheduled to premiere in theaters in Brazil on the day May 15th.
