The first two letters in the brand name mean “Zero Emission”, the third letter indicates the “Electric Evolution Era” immediately, and “kr” means “krypton”. They decided to call the first electric car model Zeekr 001. It will be interesting what the manufacturer will come up with for the release of the “Bond” model 007.
The production car is the successor to the Lynk & Co Zero concept car, which debuted last year. The liftback has a length of 4950 mm and a wheelbase of 2999 mm. Inside is a head-up display, an 8.8-inch digital instrument screen and a 15.4-inch multimedia touchscreen. There are few hardware controls, even on the steering wheel there are touch-sensitive buttons.
Zeekr 001 uses a platform called Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA). The car will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in less than four seconds. The power reserve should be 700 kilometers, while the promised adaptive suspension, which will be able to change the ground clearance in the range of 150-220 mm.
The Zeekr 001 will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show scheduled for mid-April, with production starting in the third quarter of the year. Later, the company plans to release one new model every year.
