Xiaomi today announced the new Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Pro and Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Ultra laptops. Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director and Global Vice President of Xiaomi India, published information on their characteristics and price on his page on the social network.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Ultra received an aluminum alloy body, as well as a 15.6-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The laptop is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake H-series processors (Core i5-11300H or Core i7-11370H) with Iris Xe graphics, 8GB or 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and 512GB NVMe storage. The laptop received a 70W • h battery with support for 65W fast charging via USB-C.
The Mi Notebook Pro features the same aluminum alloy casing, but a smaller 14-inch IPS display with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. Inside, the laptop is powered by the same 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors with Iris Xe graphics, 8 or 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB on NVMe. This laptop has a 70W • h battery with support for 65W fast charging via USB-C.
Both new Xiaomi laptops offer the same choice of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB-C with power delivery, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and 3.5mm combo jack. For wireless connectivity, laptops offer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The two laptops also come with a built-in 720p webcam, two 2W stereo speakers, DTS support, a fingerprint reader and a built-in microphone.
The Mi Notebook Ultra and Mi Notebook Pro feature an 83-key, three-stage backlit keyboard with a touchpad with Windows Precision drivers. The keyboards of both laptops use a scissor mechanism, with the Ultra offering 1.5mm key travel and the Pro 1.3mm.
In terms of software, the laptops run Windows 10 Home with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 preinstalled. The laptops are eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 11.
