Alfa Romeo has unveiled a new Tonale crossover based on the Jeep Compass platform. Sales of Alfa Romeo Tonale will start in Europe this summer, while the price has not yet been announced.

In Europe, a version with a 1.6-liter diesel engine with 130 hp will be available, and in the US, the crossover will receive a 260-horsepower 2.0 petrol turbo engine, which is combined with a 9-band “automatic” and a Q4 all-wheel drive transmission. Hybrid and diesel cars are exclusively front-wheel drive.
The interior of the novelty is equipped with a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 10.25-inch touch screen multimedia system. The entertainment system is equipped with a voice assistant, supports over-the-air updates and wireless interfaces Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
