The Chinese state concern GAC has introduced a stylish Trumpchi Emkoo crossover, which clearly resembles the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross model. He received boomerang-shaped headlights and a V-shaped grille.
The fact is that in China, GAC and Mitsubishi are actively cooperating, and the Japanese manufacturer created the Airtrek electric SUV based on the GAC Aion V. The hybrid version will differ from the gasoline exhaust pipes. In a hybrid, these pipes are closed with a shutter when Trumpchi Emkoo is standing still.

In the cabin, there are almost no physical control buttons, and all functionality has been transferred to the central multimedia system. Also, the car received a digital instrument panel screen.
GAC Trumpchi Emkoo is built on the proprietary GPMA platform. Buyers will be offered a 1.5-liter turbo engine in combination with a 7-speed “robot”, a 2-liter turbocharged engine in conjunction with an 8-speed “automatic” and a hybrid version of the GMC2.0.

Various technical details have not yet been released, but it has been announced that the car will be released at the end of the year.
