Chery has officially unveiled the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Kunpeng e+ 7-seater hybrid crossover. Compared to Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Plus, the new product is more sporty and aimed at a younger audience.

An X-shaped air intake grille is installed at the front. Sharp headlights, combined with a chrome decorative strip, visually make the car wider. The Tiggo 8 Pro Kunpeng e+ measures 4745 x 1860 x 1745mm with a 2710mm wheelbase. Exhaust pipes on both sides of the rear emphasize the sporty character of the car.
The interior uses a single unit with two screens with a diagonal of 12.3 inches. The Tiggo 8 Pro Kunpeng e+ comes standard with Sony’s 10-speaker surround sound system, ambient lighting, and Chery W-HUD head-up display features showing vehicle speed, dynamic navigation indicators, and telephone information.

The Tiggo Pro 8 Kungpeng e+ is equipped with a Kunpeng DHT hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine and two electric motors (one in the front and one in the rear). Kunpeng DHT hybrid system supports 9 modes and 11 speeds. Fuel consumption does not exceed 1 l/100 km. The car has a range of 100 km on a purely electric battery with a capacity of 19.27 kWh. The Tiggo Pro 8 Kungpeng e+ comes standard with AWD from Chery and ZF.
The “9 modes” include single motor electric, dual motor electric, direct drive, parallel drive, parking charging, and charging while driving. “11 speeds” includes start, medium and low speed, overpass, overtaking, traffic jam, highway and other conditions.




The Tiggo 8 Pro Kunpeng e+ is expected to go on sale in China this May.
