Actress and presenter Ellen DeGeneres shared a video on her social networks showing a strong current around her home, which is located in the Montecito region, California, in the United States.
The US state was hit by storms that flooded streets, knocked down trees and closed major roads. Emergency services responded to over 200 incident calls. The entire city of Montecito was instructed to evacuate.
On her Twitter profile, Ellen shared “Montecito is under mandatory evacuation. We are on higher ground so they asked us to shelter in place. Please everyone stay safe.”
