US President Joe Biden today discussed with US allies the latest developments regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the White House announced.
This discussion, via video call, started at 9.57 (Washington time, 16.57 Greek time), with Biden in the White House Business Room.
The purpose of this communication was “to discuss our continued support for Ukraine and our efforts to hold Russia accountable, in the context of our close coordination,” the statement added.
In addition to Biden, the video call was attended by the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trinto, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Layen, the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the French President Emanuel Macron, the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Schroel Draghi, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, the Presidents of Poland and Romania, Andrei Duda and Klaus Johannes, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
