The president of Enel in São Paulo, Max Xavier, said, in testimony to the CPI that is investigating the company, this Tuesday (14), he does not guarantee that he will sign the Conduct Adjustment Term (TAC) proposed by the State Public Ministry of São Paulo, which provides for the payment of compensation to 2 million people for the damage caused by the blackout.
“First, let’s analyze it. Analyze the terms that were proposed. And then we will sit down with the Public Ministry and discuss”, he said, when responding to a question from the president of the CPI, Thiago Auricchio (PL), whether he would sign the agreement.
The MP’s meeting with Enel took place on November 8, when the TAC was offered to the company. She has 15 days to respond. If you do not accept, the MP must take legal action against the company.
The TAC provides compensation to more than 2 million customers and investments in the system to reduce episodes of electricity interruptions.
