President Zelensky asks the country to “prepare” for Russian strikes in the winter

THE Ukraine should “prepare” for Russian strikes on its infrastructure this winter, Ukraine’s president warned tonight Volodymyr Zelenskyspeaking of a possible increase in attacks.

“Must prepare for the possibility that the enemy may increase drone or missile strikes on our infrastructureZelensky said in his daily sermon. “All our attention must be focused on defense (…) on what Ukraine can do to help our people get through the winter,” he said.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Ukraine, led by the Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko, arrived in Washington today to discuss cooperation with the US and the support they can provide to the country.

Zelensky’s chief of staff Andriy Germak, who is part of the delegation, said that will hold talks with officials at the White House, Congress and with representatives of civil society. Among the subjects that will be discussed are the Ukrainian president’s proposals for ending the warstrengthening Ukraine’s defense “and other important issues,” he added.
