Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT)
I was interviewed by him several times, always with independence and willingness to listen to the interviewee. Brazil today, in this difficult time, is losing a part of its humour, talent and intelligence. But he will never forget the work that Jô Soares left us.

Brazil dawned very sad, with less reason to laugh and less agile in thinking. We lost Jô Soares, one of our greatest references in intelligence, talent and humor. Rest in peace dear Jô and receive, from all of us, that affectionate and grateful kiss very fat. pic.twitter.com/MsClb4KyWz

Felipe D’Avila (New)
Brazil lost a great genius, Jô Soares.
I remember an interview I gave him when I published my book “Os Virtuosos”.
I was impressed how he knew the story of Prudente de Moraes, Campos Salles and Rodrigues Alves.
