To her followers, the singer mentioned that her doctor had already spoken about the sensation, but until then, she had never felt the condition during treatment.

Through a video, Preta said that before she only felt sick when the chemotherapy medication had already entered her body. However, this Monday (7), she reported that she arrived at the hospital feeling sick.

“My penny dropped, I have anticipatory nausea, this really exists, I arrived here feeling sick. Our heads control everything”, he said.

According to a study by the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncologyanxiety reported by the patient before starting treatment can trigger nausea and vomiting.

Also according to the study, patients who expect to feel nauseated before chemotherapy develop, in greater numbers, anticipatory nausea, differently from those who did not have the same expectation.
