The singer Preta Gil 50, updated his clinical picture this Friday (10) on social media. In December, the voice of “Signs of Fire” underwent extensive surgery to remove a tumor and, since then, has remained hospitalized.
On social media, the artist detailed the difficulties of this period and that she can’t wait to return home. “Hello, my loves! I’m here in the hospital recovering from surgery. A very extensive surgery. Very important. It’s a very difficult post-operative period”, he began.
“I’m living one day at a time, fighting, doing my best to stay well, dying to get out of here as soon as possible,” she continued.
Gilberto Gil’s daughter also said that the recovery journey involved a lot of rehabilitation. “Everything will be fine. I’m here firm and strong. I’ll be home soon, God willing”, he concluded.
Preta Gil was admitted to Hospital Sírio-Libanês on December 19th to undergo surgery to remove the tumor, which took more than 20 hours. She was discharged from the ICU after 12 days.
