Pretty Little Liars: everything you need to know about the protagonists of the reboot

Attention fans of Pretty Little Liars: the cast of the reboot of the series, announced a few months ago, is finally complete! Lo showrunner, Roberto Aguirre Sacasa, presented to the public, through an Instagram post, the new group of protagonists. To the already known Chandler Kinney e Maia Reficco, they joined Malia Pyles, Zaria e Bailee Madison.

But the news does not end there because the writers have already let slip some preview details on the characters they will play. Kinney Sara Tabby, student with a passion for cinema and the dream of becoming a horror film director who hides some secrets that it would be better not to reveal (if you remember Alison DiLaurentis then you are on the right path); Reficcoinstead, it will interpret Noa, a sports champion who spent a long period of time in reform school (we still don’t know why, though!); Pyles will take on the role of Minnie, the youngest of the group, an IT expert with a double life online and a fairly traumatic childhood behind her, a detail that makes her shy but also stronger in managing the tragic events that the group will have to face; Zaria will play the role of They will do, ambitious dancer but tried by the very competitive environment of dance and, finally, Madison will complete the group with her Imogen, the new leader described as “a true survivor”.

At the center of everything there will still be the mythical town of Mildwood and what we will see in the new episodes will be set 20 years later than the old ones. There will be a new A. seeking revenge because of some deeds committed by the girls’ parents long ago. Although filming only started on August 23, we already know a great deal about Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin – this is the title chosen for the reboot -, soon to be broadcast on Hbo Max.

Obviously, it will still take a long time for the episodes to be available and what better way to pass the wait than to find out a few more details about the new actresses?

MALIA PYLES

Class 2000, Malia already has a leading role in the series behind him FX, Basket, and in Batwoman. In addition to acting, painting is also one of his great passions.
