“PRF Road Cinema”; learn about the attraction that seeks to disseminate traffic information

One of the attractions of the 53rd Expofeira do Amapá, the PRF Road Cinema Truck is a project that offers lectures and screenings of videos and films related to road safety. Activities at the event will run until September 8, with sessions shown from 7 pm to 11 pm.

The trailer is a true mobile movie theater, with capacity for 50 people per session. Guests are encouraged to reflect on their behavior in traffic, whether as pedestrians, drivers or passengers. The project is coming to the North region for the first time.

The Roadside Cinema, run by the Federal Highway Police (PRF), is aimed at educating young people and adults from public schools, professionals from the private sector, managers and civil servants, professional school bus drivers, motorcyclists and cyclists. The aim is to promote awareness about road safety, highlighting the importance of responsible and informed behavior in building a safer society.

The Road Cinema Caravan’s programming is quite diverse and addresses topics relevant to society, such as the importance of using seat belts, the consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and the need to respect traffic laws. In partnership with the State Secretariat for Culture (Secult), next Saturday (6), the space will exhibit works by Amapá’s audiovisual sector.

Fair promotes action with glasses that simulate the feeling of drunkenness

The government of Amapá is using glasses that simulate drunk driving to warn drivers about the risks of combining alcoholic beverages and driving. The action was reinforced by the PRF inspector in the state.

“In addition to the videos, the public can participate in actions on human rights and the exhibition of the institution’s vehicles and equipment, such as the drunk driving simulator glasses,” informed PRF inspector Luiz Brito.

In 2024, Amapá recorded, in the first half of the year, that 71 drivers were caught in the breathalyzer test. Another 98 refused to take the test. This corresponds to an increase of 129% and 56%, respectively, in relation to the data from 2023.
