Price of the Dollar in Colombia today Monday, April 1

The USD/COP is trading today, Monday, April 1, above 3,853.42, losing 0.31% daily.

The price of the US Dollar against the Colombian Peso opened the week around 3,860.40, subsequently falling to a daily low at 3,848.75.

USD/COP Weekly Outlook: Focus on US employment data and Colombian inflation

  • The attention of USD/COP investors this Monday will be on the ISM manufacturing PMI data that the United States will publish at 15:00 GMT, expecting an increase to 48.4 points in March compared to 47.8 in February.
  • The US ADP private employment data for March and Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) for the same month will determine the direction of the Dollar against its rivals this weekto. The US is expected to have created 130,000 private jobs in March, down from 140,000 in February. Regarding the NFP, 200,000 new jobs are estimated compared to 275,000 the previous month.
  • The week will end with the publication of Colombia's inflation data for the month of March. In February, the Colombian CPI grew at an interannual rate of 7.74%, its lowest level since January 2022.
