The price of the US Dollar against the Colombian Peso has plummeted from a daily high of 3,839.17 to 3,803.50, its lowest level in two and a half months, specifically since January 22.

Colombian Peso Awaits US Non-Farm Payrolls and Colombian Inflation

  • He ADP private employment report published today has revealed that the United States will generate 184,000 jobs in March, notably exceeding the 148,000 expected by the market. Additionally, February's figure was revised upward, rising to 155,000 jobs from the 140,000 posted a month ago.
  • After the good employment data from ADP, USD/COP traders now await the March Non-Farm Payrolls numbers for the United States. The market expects 200,000 new jobs compared to 275,000 the previous month.
  • The first week of April will end with the publication of the Colombia inflation data of the month of March. In February, the Colombian CPI grew at an interannual rate of 7.74%, its lowest level since January 2022.
