Amazon is ready for the Prime Day: the Seattle giant has just put on line the page announcing the imminent arrival of its online shopping marathon – www.amazon.it/primeday – and it did so well in advance. In fact, Prime Day is held every year in July and, even if there are no official dates yet, this move by Amazon only confirms rumors that for days have been heralding a possible new date for 2021 the month of June.
A page, obviously, created to create even more expectations: we read that “Prime Day is coming “, that to stay up to date you can ask Alexa for information, and then all the advantages for the customers who will take advantage of it are listed.
In fact, Amazon Prime Day is reserved for those who subscribe to the Prime subscription which – at a cost of 36 euros per year or 3.99 euros per month, and free for the first month – allows you to take advantage of Unlimited free deliveries for Prime products, and to access many other Amazon services: for example the catalog of films and series of Prime Video, to the ebooks of Prime Reading, and also take advantage of discounts for Audible to listen to audiobooks and podcasts, for Music Unlimited, and Twitch Prime (for video games).
Even if Amazon does not give official advances for now, everything suggests that the Prime Day formula, which has remained unchanged for years, will not change even for 2021: 24 hours of great discounts on all types of products on the platform, preceded by a week of advances, which as always will also involve small and medium-sized enterprises, now – also thanks to the pandemic – consolidated reality on Amazon.
